A plane crashed in Philadelphia early Saturday, setting multiple homes on fire, with casualties feared. Several videos of the plane crash were captured on cameras.

A plane crashed on the road in Philadelphia on Friday evening (Philadelphia local time), resulting in multiple casualties on the ground as many homes were on fire, news agency Reuters quoted federal officials and local media as saying.
The plane was reportedly carrying two people and crashed in the vicinity of the Roosevelt Mall in Philadelphia.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the crash took place around 6.30 pm (0030 GMT). Local media reported it was near the Roosevelt Mall in northeast Philadelphia.
The number of casualties on the ground were not immediately known.
Videos on social media showed many cars and some houses on fire.
Another video showed thick smoke at the site of the plane crash and multiple cars were up in flames.
Another video showed chaos and panic on the streets as multiple homes were seen up on flames in the vicinity of the plane crash.
Locals, in one video, were seen in panic, as they heard a loud boom and saw a ball of fire just as the plane crashed.
The Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management confirmed on social media that there was a “major incident" in the area of the reported crash, but provided no other details.
Media reports said the plane crashed outside Roosevelt Mall in the city in Pennsylvania.
Reports also suggested the crashed plane was a medical aircraft, a Learjet 55, which took off from Philadelphia and was en route to Springfield, Missouri.
An official confirmation on the number of people onboard the plane and the fatalities was yet awaited.
