Redmi 15C is the new budget 5G phone from Xiaomi in the market and users in India can now buy the latest Redmi device from the brand. Redmi 15 was the first product in the series which brought silicon carbon grade battery to the affordable segment and now Xiaomi is adding another option for those who don’t want to spend big on their next 5G phone. The Redmi 15C gets a design refresh, powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipset and gets some level of IP rating for protection.
Redmi 15C Price In India And Variants
Redmi 15C 5G price in India starts at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB + 128GB model, while you have the 6GB + 128GB variant that costs Rs 13,999 and the 8GB + 128GB option is available for Rs 15,499 in the country. Redmi 15C 5G will go on sale from December 11 in India.
Redmi 15C 5G Specifications
Redmi 15C is a budget phone so the features have been tuned to meet the pricing and still deliver a good experience. This means you get Android 15 and not 16 based HyperOS 2 version and promise of 2 OS upgrades along with 4 years of security patches.
The phone sports a large 6.9-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate but not an AMOLED panel. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is further expandable up to 1TB via the microSD card slot. The phone even has the traditional headphone jack to let you use wired earphones.
The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging and 10W reverse charging. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security along with AI face unlock which is more software based. Even with a big size battery the phone comes at 7.99mm thickness and weighs 211 grams.
For imaging, the budget Redmi model has a 50MP main sensor along with a depth sensor and you have an 8MP front shooter.
