A Scottish rock band is facing severe backlash after projecting a video that showed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other political figures with swastikas superimposed over their eyes during a London concert.
The imagery, displayed during Primal Scream’s performance of their 2000 track “Swastika Eyes" at The Roundhouse, has drawn widespread condemnation for antisemitism. According to the New York Post, the graphics intertwined swastikas with Stars of David and were broadcast across a large onstage screen.

The video showed Netanyahu alongside Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and Clinton, with rotating swastika–Star of David symbols covering their eyes.
The New York Post reported that the footage also included scenes from the Gaza war, the assassination attempt on President Trump in Pennsylvania, and an image of Elon Musk raising his arm at a rally.
Primal Scream defended the video in an Instagram post, calling it an artistic work intended to spark discussion. “The film is a piece of art. It clearly draws from history to question where the actions of current world governments sit in that context. It is meant to provoke debate, not hate," the band wrote. Their explanation has not quelled criticism; in fact, the incident has drawn formal complaints.
The New York Post story also mentioned that the Community Security Trust, a UK charity that monitors antisemitism, has reported the band to British police.
