Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex witnessed an extremely volatile session on Monday, ending around 3% lower, each, post the Trump tariffs-led US market and global markets crash. Nifty 50 closed at 22,161.60, while Sensex ended at 73,137.90.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended significantly off lows, but after making new 52 week lows. The Dow Jones dropped 350 points, S&P 500 ended 0.2% lower and the Nasdaq Composite ended above the flatline. Asian stocks, led by Japan, gained in early trade today.
Global markets have witnessed uncertainties as every nation decides their next move followingUS President Donald Trump's recent tariffs. While he said he did not engineer the recent market sell off "but sometimes you have to take medicine to fix something". Trump later also signaled he could be open to a few negotiations, but he said he wasn't considering a pause on his plan to implement additional tariffs on dozens of nations despite the outreach from trading partners wanting to avoid levies.
Titan, HPCL, M&M, BEL, IL&FS Engineering are some of the stocks in focus today.
