Amid concerns over depleting weapons supplies, the Trump administration plans to meet executives from the largest US defence contractors at the White House on Friday, reports Reuters. The talks aim to discuss accelerating weapons production as the Pentagon seeks to replenish stocks after strikes on Iran and other recent military operations, according to five people familiar with the plan who spoke to Reuters.

Companies including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon parent RTX, along with other key suppliers, have been invited to attend the meeting. The people shared details on condition of anonymity because the discussions are private.
