The suspect in a fatal shooting at a recently opened In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Idaho died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. Authorities identified him as 24-year-old Chad Williams and said they were confident he had acted alone.

Three people were killed and seven others were injured in the shooting on Saturday in Twin Falls. According to authorities, two of the injured were treated at a hospital and released, three were in stable condition and two were in critical condition.

An employee was among those killed, the fast-food chain's owner Lynsi Snyder said. In a statement posted on social media early on Sunday, she said, "My heart is broken, my chest is heavy, my eyes burn from the tears I have shed. We lost one of our beautiful associates tonight." She added, "In-N-Out will be mourning with the families and praying for them as they tread through a very painful season."

The FBI on Sunday asked people to submit images and videos linked to the shooting, which left seven others wounded, some critically. The Twin Falls restaurant had opened about a week earlier, on July 24, as part of the California-based company's recent expansion into Idaho.

Officials were still trying to notify the relatives of the victims and had not yet released the names, ages or other details of those injured, Twin Falls spokesperson Josh Palmer said on Saturday. Palmer said officers who responded to the shooting found the suspected gunman's body in an area near the restaurant. He said he did not know if the suspect was included in the fatality count.

Police said Chad Williams died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the attack at the Twin Falls In-N-Out Burger, where three people were killed and seven were injured. Authorities said they believe he acted alone, while officials continued to notify families and seek material related to the shooting.
