OnePlus Pad 2 Pro has launched in China and could soon be coming to other regions
OnePlus launched the Pad 2 Pro in China making it the latest high-end tablet from the brand in the region. The Pad 2 Pro features a large 13.2-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a sharp 3.4K resolution.
It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and backed by a 12,140mAh battery with support for fast wired charging. Designed with gamers in mind, the Pad 2 Pro also boasts an advanced thermal management system, including a 34,857 sq mm vapour chamber for efficient heat dissipation.
The Pad 2 Pro succeeds the OnePlus Pad Pro, which debuted in June 2024 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 9,510mAh battery, and a 12.1-inch 3K display.

As per the official website, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro has a 13.2-inch 3.4K (2,400 x 3,392 pixel) LCD screen that supports Dolby Vision, has a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a pixel density of 315 ppi, an 89.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a brightness level of 900 nits.
It is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It comes ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, comes pre-installed on the tablet. A 34,857sq mm cooling system is included for better heat dispersion.
The Pad 2 Pro gets a 13MP back camera along with an 8MP front-facing shooter for video calls and selfies. For some games, the tablet can run them at 2.1K resolution with 120 frames per second.
The 12,140mAh battery of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro supports 67W rapid charging. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB Type-C port are among the available connectivity choices. It has eight speaker units and several AI functions. The tablet weighs 675g and has dimensions of 289.61×209.66×5.97mm.
The 8GB + 256GB model of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro costs CNY 3,199 (around Rs 37,900) in China. The prices of the 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB versions are CNY 3,499 (about Rs 41,500), CNY 3,799 (Rs 45,000 approx), and CNY 3,999 (Rs 47,400 approx), respectively.
