OnePlus Watch 2 showed promising signs after the poor first effort and the third-gen smartwatch could go up a notch.

OnePlus 13 launch is just a few days away but there are already rumours about the next OnePlus smartwatch. Reports this week say the upcoming OnePlus Watch 3 will come with enhanced health features, as hinted by recent updates to the OHealth app.

The new details have been plucked through an Android Application Package (APK) breakdown of the most recent version 4.30.11_e27d199_241122 of the OHealth app, sourced by the folks at Android Authority. The next OnePlus wearable would feature an electrocardiogram (ECG) and more importantly, we could see the Watch 3 Pro moniker added to the lineup.

According to screenshots of the feature given by the publication, it may identify many diseases, including high or low heart rates, frequent premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) and atrial fibrillation (AFib). This feature can be accessed directly on the watch; however, it may require certain conditions to be met by the associated phone.

The most recent app also shows a Wrist Temperature feature, according to the reports. Users may need to set a baseline temperature by sleeping with the watch for at least five days and having at least one four-hour or longer sleep session to use this feature.

There are also rumours that the OnePlus Watch 3 series will have a 60-second Checkup feature. Using seven health indicators—blood oxygen levels, ECG readings, sleep, vascular age, and more—this feature monitors heart health, blood vessel elasticity, and sleep snoring. It is also said that a Health tab with Health Insights and Health Journey capabilities will be added to the OHealth app.

Reportedly, the OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to launch in international markets alongside the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. The Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage might power it. The anticipated battery capacity of the watch is 631mAh, but it may be closer to 648mAh. Furthermore, there may be a Pro version of the OnePlus Watch 3 as well, according to a recent report.
