Upcoming Phones March 2025 in India: January is done, February is almost done and now it is time for March, the big tech month of the year. Not only do we have the popular Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, there will be a slew of new launches that are being lined up in the market over the next 31 days.
Brands like Xiaomi, Nothing, Poco and Samsung have already confirmed their launch events, which products are expected and what it will bring for the buyers. Here’s a detailed look at the upcoming phone launches in India.
Big Phone Launches In March 2025 In India
Nothing Phone 3a Series
The Nothing Phone 3a series will make its debut at the MWC 2025 in Barcelona on March 4 and on the same day we will get the Phone 3a launch details for the Indian market. The Phone 3a series is successor to the Phone 2a models that came last year with the Phone 2a and the Phone 2a Plus versions.
Nothing is going with Qualcomm for its new mid-range phones, and offer the Android 15-based Nothing OS out of the box. We can expect the phones to sport an AMOLED display and probably have more than dual cameras at the back with the latest models. Going by the rumours and leaks, Nothing Phone 3a series price in India could start around Rs 24,000.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Xiaomi has unveiled the new 15 Ultra in China earlier this week, and soon we will see the new flagship series launch globally. The company has also shared a teaser for the new Xiaomi 15 Ultra in India which makes us believe that the official launch is not far away.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) in a post on X has said, Xiaomi is expected to announce the Indian prices for the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra on March 18. The tipster further claims that sales will commence nationwide on March 21.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 16GB of RAM. The phone is expected to have a quad back camera unit with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto sensor, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 extreme wide-angle lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor of the 1-inch type. The premium model gets both IP68 and IP69 rating like most flagships these days.
Samsung Galaxy A Series
Samsung is being tipped to launch not one but three Galaxy A smartphones in India in March. Reports say we could see the brand introduce the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A26 models in the country. Samsung could offer the new phones with the One UI 7 version out of the box and promise up to six OS upgrades for the devices. The phones are likely to use Qualcomm, Exynos or MediaTek chipsets, and sport an AMOLED display. We’ll get more details about the phones closer to the launch date next week.
Poco M7 5G
Poco is gearing up to launch the Poco M7 5G in India early next month. The new M-series smartphone from the brand is expected to bring notable upgrades for the budget segment. Poco recently teased the M7 launch by sharing a poster on its official X handle, giving us a closer look at its design and some features. Poco is likely to use a Snapdragon chipset to power the device and feature a circular module for the camera at the back.
