Airtel users can avail the special 6-month Google cloud offer
Airtel has partnered with Google to offer its postpaid and Wi-Fi customers a complimentary Google One cloud storage subscription.
This collaboration aims to address the common issue of limited device storage. As part of the latest offer, Airtel users will receive 100 GB of Google One cloud storage free for six months, enabling them to securely back up and access their data across devices.
The subscription will help resolve storage issues faced by Airtel’s customers in their daily usage. As part of the offer, Airtel’s postpaid and Wi-Fi users can share this storage with up to five other people.
Airtel Google Cloud Offer: How To Get Free Data
Airtel users need to log in to the Airtel Thanks App and claim the benefit. After the six-month free period, the Google One cloud storage will be charged at Rs 125 per month, which will be added to the customer’s monthly bill. Users who don’t want to continue with the subscription will automatically lose access to Google One membership and its associated benefits.
Google One cloud storage subscription lets you save photos, manage the Gmail data, and even keep important documents on Drive. That’s not all, Google Cloud storage now counts against your WhatsApp chat and media file data when you back it up to the cloud.
Besides Google cloud offer, Airtel also offers Apple TV+ streaming benefit for its postpaid and Wi-Fi customers.
The telco says all postpaid mobile users and Airtel Xstream Fibre customers can stream the Apple TV+ content catalogue by choosing select Wi-Fi or postpaid plans.
The Apple TV+ access is available to the home Wi-Fi (Xstream Fiber) customers who use the Rs 999 or higher plans. Similarly, Apple Music and Apple TV+ will be free for six months for Airtel postpaid mobile customers. These subscriptions will be offered on plans above Rs 999.
